Amy Kawaguchi is no stranger to leaders in Catholic education. She has been a hugely successful advisor to Diocese and Principals in federal funding initiatives having helped procure over $100 million in funds over her storied career helping Catholic schools. She is an educator who specializes in working with public and private schools to implement innovative and evidence based educational practices to enhance teaching and learning. Her areas of expertise include supporting best practices in education, identifying innovative programs, and seeking opportunities for educators to succeed with their students.
Amy has dedicated her career in education as a classroom teacher, administrator, curriculum development specialist, university advisor to master’s degree students, education consultant, corporate national sales and business development executive. Her extensive background has enabled her to provide insights and comprehensive plans conducive to making decisions that improve instruction, curriculum, assessment, educational practices and maximizing federal programs. Amy is passionate about supporting educators to enhance and enrich learning for all learners.
Since 2003, Amy has dedicated her work with public school districts and private non-public schools in ensuring equitable participation in federally funded programs. She is highly knowledgeable of ESEA/ESSA guidance and assisted educators with the implementation of federal initiatives with innovative programs that focus on improving education for all students.
