Over the past five years, STEM education has undergone many iterations. Beginning with enhancements to the acronym itself; we have gone from STEM to STEAM to STREAM, and just to confuse matters even more, we started adding “Makerspace” to the equation.
STEM is much more than the subjects represented by the letters, it is an integrated approach that uses project-based learning to enable students to understand the relevancy of their learning to the world around them.
So how do we make this happen? How does a school or district implement a STEM program that aligns across the curriculum?

The summit was excellent. Thank you for inviting me. It was a very informative day.
This was a great day. The facility was fantastic and the food was incredible. The presenters were very knowledgable and I love that it was all shared with us.
Loved the keynote point about the education being like an egg carton/silos. Love the activity of Content/Knowledge and Disruptions. Deliberate Design provided a hands on activity that I can bring into my classroom once I obtain the kits.
Well organized and full of relevant information. Working on creating a rich and rigorous middle school program. Today's events supported my plans and gave me confidence we are moving in the right direction. Thank you.
This was a well run event that offered a variety of workshops all providing useful tips. Thank you!
Fabulous day, thank you so much, hope you are having more in the future!
Absolutely loved it! I hope that you will be able to have another summit next year.
This was a fantastic day! I'm so glad I came.
I enjoyed all sessions but the session on Coding in Early Education the most helpful with our needs for our district.
Absolutely a MUST for all schools who have a STEM/STEAM program
